  2. Thanks Amie

Yes developing confident and independent learners who can share both their ideas about learning and how to improve things is so important to us as educators.

Students were most excited about sharing their books with others via book reviews (Google Vids) and in person when we visit the library. Students were also keen to challenge each others thinking and keep each other accountable - which may have been slightly driven by their teacher to begin with but they have subsequently taken this on as a personal challenge. Students have also been setting goals in class this week and many of them have used taking out chapter books from the library as one of their reading goals so was fantastic to see that coming through. They are also very excited to game-ify their reading but this will be a work in progress over the year as they become more confident users of Chromebooks.
